British International School Riyadh (BISR) is a non-profitable co-ed institution located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, that offers education to students of age 3-18. Founded in 1979, BISR has expanded to becoming a multi-campus institution with a multicultural student population of more than 90 nationalities, and a large proportion of them are British passport holders. The school is based on the National Curriculum of England and prepares students to take IGCSE, A-Level and increasingly International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

BISR is also renowned to have wide and well maintained facilities distributed in its different campuses. The initial Al Hamra campus, covering 7 hectares, has an indoor swimming pool, Astroturf field, design and science laboratories, arts studios and ICT suites. The Diplomatic Quarter (DQ) Campus, which opened in 2020, provides a better facility to the primary and senior sections. Another important establishment is the new Al Waha Campus, a bespoke 30,000 sqm site that will be opening in August 2025 (the initial plans had 2024) which will comprise separate primary and senior sections, a school auditorium, the latest sports facilities, swimming pool, drama and music rooms and a large library. The school is equipped with modern technology such as one-to-one iPad program in the younger students and BYOD program in the seniors.

BISR has accreditation as one of its quality assurance pillars. It is recognized by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and British Schools Overseas (BSO), which makes its standards consistent with the ones of the best independent schools in the UK. BISR belongs to a network of different professional organizations as well, such as the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) and is an IB World School. Although its academics, facilities and diverse environment are generally well reviewed, there is some parent feedback indicating high demand and, in rare instances, disciplinary inconsistency. Tuition changes according to grade level and is around SAR 49,095 in Kindergarten 1, and more than SAR 107,933 in Grades 11-12 in the 2025/2026 school year, as well as one-time registration fees on new admissions.
