About:

Middle East Chamoilgas Dubai Petroleum Establishment

Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE) is a high profile government owned organization in Dubai, UAE that deals in exploration, development and production of the offshore oil and gas wells available in the Emirate. DPE is a Royal Decree established in 2006 and currently controls a number of the most important offshore fields, such as Fateh, South West Fateh, Falah, Rashid, and Jalilah that have powered the Dubai economy since the initial exports of oil back in 1969. The very nature of DPE business is based on developing and operating all possible opportunities to increase the presently available hydrocarbon resources with the use of cutting edge technologies and discovering new hitherto unexplored possibilities which guarantee the energy safety of Dubai and the sustainable enhancement of its industry. Although Chamoilgas seems to be not an independent separate item parallel to DPE, it could mean a certain functional peculiarity or past affiliation in the general content of the Dubai petroleum business.

Such aspects as important legacy status as the pillar of industrial development of Dubai, adherence to more new technological services to make oil recovery and exploration more effective, and close compliance with international safety and environmental standards may be seen as the unique selling points of DPE: this is evidenced by such certifications as ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001. The institution is one of the key players in the energy sector worldwide since it uses its geographical position and experience that allow it to make sure its production is efficient and responsible. DPE also develops the talent and has well established emergency procedures, which only strengthen its status as a reliable and proactive member of the oil and gas sector.
