Vopak Horizon Fujairah Limited was founded in the year 1998 and is an independent storage and handling service provider of petroleum products and crude oil in Fujairah, UAE. The company is strategically located at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz, beyond the Arabian Gulf, to provide important hub of blending, break-bulk and consolidation of different petroleum products such as Mogas, Reformate, Naphtha, Pygas, Gasoil, MTBE, Condensate, Fuel Oil, Jet Fuel, Kerosene, and crude oil. They also deal with biofuels such as Ethanol on request. Their services include receipt and discharge to ships, homogenizing, additivation, inter-tank movements, pipeline movements to adjacent terminals and ship-to-ship operations and these services are available to tankers of up to 175,000 d.w.t. The terminal has a large storage capacity of around 2.1 million cubic meters with 68 tanks, 6 jetties and 1 Single Point Mooring buoy and it is linked to the Port of Fujairah Matrix Manifold, which has access to port jetties and helps in transferring the products to other terminals.

Being a joint venture of a Royal Vopak and Horizon Terminals Ltd together with Government of Fujairah and Kuwait Independent Petroleum Group, the Vopak Horizon Fujairah is intended to operate on high safety and environmental standards (ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 14001-2004). One of the major breakthroughs was when they commissioned Project Black Pearl, their 7 th expansion phase, which introduced crude oil storage facility, and this took their capacity to 2.6 million cubic meters.
